What's For Lunch?

I would like to thank the Food Service staff at Chardon Schools for doing a superb job working with all the new regulations in the federally-mandated School Lunch Program. The Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act developed in 2010 has brought new meal patterns to the program.  As they continuously work to meet the guidelines, the food service staff keep student requests a priority in designing the lunch menu. Chardon Schools and I can appreciate the hard work and dedicated concern for our students shown by the food service staff all year!

Thank you for your support to the educational process and improve the overall health and well-being of every student through the meals and service you provide! You make a difference every day!

Have a Safe and Fun Summer!

This Week's Middle School Menu

What’s Cooking?

There’s always a meal ready to be served!

Some mornings, it’s tough to find the time to make sure your kids are eating a nutritious breakfast. On those days, why not send them to the School Breakfast Program? Each meal meets government nutritional guidelines and standards.  Schools are required to provide a breakfast meal that supplies at least ¼ of the Recommended Dietary Allowance for protein, calcium, iron, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and calories. Check your child’s menu to see the variety of nutritious choices available at School Breakfast, or stop by to sample the food yourself!
