Chardon Assistant Superintetendent for Curriculum , Ed Klein, Ph.D, has secured a $100,000 grant from ODE for Innovative Strategies for Differentiating Instruction to fund professional development and the  implementation of the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Model. 
Chardon High School is the focus of this grant with an emphasis on how we can differentiate instruction to better meet the needs of all learners. Eight teachers and staff from our State Support Team will be visiting a school in the Bartholomew Consolidated School District in Indiana that specializes in the implementation of UDL.
