Good morning CMS families.
Just a reminder
for those who need to pick-up a chromebook, workbooks, or other items
from school should please plan to do so betwen 8:00am and 2:00pm
tomorrow, Monday, 3/16/2020. By 8:00am teachers will have placed any
items stored in their classrooms on identified tables in the media
center, along with chromebooks and chargers (for 4th and 5th graders).
Students can also access their lockers at this time. If a parent is
picking up items for a student, please be sure to have your child's
locker number and combination with you.
As staff members will be in trainings all day, there will not be access to classrooms or teachers.
There
are not new items being distribributed tomorrow - teachers handed out
workbooks, journals, binders, etc. that are stored in their classrooms
on Friday. This pick-up is only for those families who child was not in
attendance on Friday, or if your child forgot something in his or her
locker.
We would like to reinforce the concept
of social distancing to anyone entering the building and ask that you
quickly gather necessary belongings as quickly as possible.
Additional
e-mails will be sent throughout today and tomorrow sharing technology
resources and processes to assist parents in supporting your child
navigate this shift in instruction. In addition, we want to remind
everyone that a copy of every e-mail sent out from CMS is also posted on
the CMS website home page under "news."
