Chardon Schools were notified on February 13, 2017 by the Disease Surveillance Specialist at Geauga County General Health District about an increase in flu activity in our county.
We at Chardon Schools are also starting to see some students with flu-like symptoms. Please refer to this
Ohio Dept. of Health brochure to learn what you can do to keep your family healthy this flu season, and what to do if you or your family do become ill with the flu.
The best prevention against influenza is an annual vaccination. If you haven't already done so, it is not too late to vaccinate your family.
More information about influenza and vaccines can be obtained on the Centers for Disease Control (CDC)
