Community Engagement: Chardon Area Chamber of Commerce

September 27, 2022 — Chardon Area Chamber of Commerce members dedicated time on the afternoon of Sept. 14 to attend the District's State of the Schools / 4Es and Community Connections presentation, a networking and luncheon event hosted by the District at Chardon High School.

Chamber leadership, including executive director Mrs. Melissa Ricco and board president Ms. Cathy Peters, helped make the event a success through their planning and advertising efforts prior to the event.

District members in attendance included Chardon board members Mrs. Karen Blankenship (president), Mr. Keith Brewster (vice-president), and Mr. CJ Paterniti (board member and presenter); and District administrators, including State of the Schools presenters Superintendent Michael Hanlon and Treasurer/CFO Deb Armbruster.

The Chardon 4Es and Community Connections panel, introduced by CHS principal Mr. Doug Murray, included Hilltopper students helping to present on innovative programs in our schools.

  • Mrs. Amber Yeager
    (Arthur Holden Leadership Program at CHS & CMS)

    (Actively Caring for People® service program at CHS)


  • Mr. Jason Hall

  • Mr. Allen Herner
    (College Credit Plus business courses at CHS)


  • Mr. Dan Chenoweth
