May 18, 2023 — In the spotlight here is Chardon bus driver Mr. Steve Silveroli — a Chardon Transportation team member for 2.5 years.
Mr. Silveroli carries the ultimate responsibility of safely transporting our most precious cargo — students! — to and from the regular school day and to and from field trips and extracurricular activities.
Recent excursions beyond the school day for Mr. Silveroli have included student field trips to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Progressive Field, the Cleveland Museum of Art, Auburn Career Center and athletic events, including track meets and baseball games.
Mr. Silveroli - like all Chardon Schools bus drivers - is also responsible for pre-trip exterior and interior safety checks of his bus every day.
And at the end of the day, washing the bus is just one step in helping to extend the lifespan of our fleet here in NE Ohio!
But there's more — Mr. Silveroli also spends time serving our District as a bus assistant!
