Stellar State Tournament Finish for CMS Science Olympiad Team

April 27, 2021 — The unstoppable Chardon Middle School Science Olympiad Division B team advanced this spring to the State tournament for the twenty-fifth consecutive year and had much to celebrate at the conclusion of the 2020-21 season, placing tenth overall out of 42 teams at the State contest held virtually in April. 


The CMS SO team comprises students in grade levels six through nine.


Individual placers in the State tournament included:


  • 4th Crime Busters- Sadie Kuhnle and Noah Badovick
  • 10th Density Lab- Alex Monkiewicz and Noah Badovick
  • 10th Disease Detectives- Jillian Morrison and Sadie Kuhnle
  • 6th Dynamic Planet- Seianna Coon and Cash Johnson
  • 7th Food Science- Noah Badovick and Sadie Kuhnle
  • 9th Fossils- Cash Johnson and Seianna Coon
  • 7th Heredity- Sadie Kuhnle and Jillian Morrison
  • 9th Machines- Chelsea Stanish and Noah Badovick
  • 10th Meteorology- Seianna Coon and Cash Johnson
  • 7th Reach for the Stars- Jillian Morrison and Chelsea Stanish
