The Ohio Department of Education's School District Report Card gives our community a snapshot of the progress of Chardon Local Schools in raising achievement and preparing students for the future. It is one of several tools the district uses to measure our schools' performances in areas critical to success in learning.
The 2020-21 report card was released by the ODE in October 2021.
Chardon Local Schools' Assistant Superintendent Dr. Ed Klein presented on the district's 2020-21 report card at the district's October 18, 2021 board meeting. The full presentation can be found in BoardDocs or by clicking the image below or visiting https://bit.ly/CLSDrepcard21. NOTE: The state’s accountability system and Ohio School Report Cards for the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 school years look different because of short-term changes in Ohio law and the accountability waivers approved by the U.S. Department of Education. Therefore, updated spreadsheets reporting the letter grades or ratings are not available from the ODE for the 2019-2020 or 2020-2021 school years.

2020-21 Chardon Local School District Report Card NOTE: Districts and schools report information for the Ohio School Report Cards on specific marks of performance, called measures, within broad categories called components. They receive grades for up to 10 measures and six components. The 2020-21 report card does not have grades or ratings. Limited data is available due to the coronavirus pandemic and ordered school-building closure during that school year.
