Hugh was a valued member of the Chardon High School Custodial and Maintenance teams over a time span of 23 years, including his role as CHS Head Custodian. He also held sub positions in those departments, ultimately retiring in 2011.
Hugh was very talented at fixing things and keeping the building functioning.
He always had a smile on his face and was willing to help teachers with the smallest of problems.
Along with his brother Blake and sister-in-law Joyce, Hugh volunteered countless hours for the many extra-curricular activities
at CHS.
As a member of the community, Hugh took great pride in Chardon Schools.
