March 1, 2023 — Today marks the grand re-opening for Chardon High School's 300s-level classrooms that had been closed and under restoration since the start of the calendar year in response to the Dec. 25-26 flooding.

While there is still some work to accomplish, the classrooms are ready for students and staff.

"This is an exciting time considering where we started," said CHS principal Doug Murray.

Special thanks to our Maintenance staff, Custodial staff, CREW students, CHS study hall helpers, Mr. Chris Hercik (IT Support Tech), and principal Mr. Murray for putting in the hours on Tuesday to finalize the classrooms for turnkey condition; and to all of CHS administration for their work in adjusting the master schedule based on new room availability.
