September 24, 2023 — Congratulations to the Chardon Schools Treasurer's Office — now in its 2nd consecutive year of earning the Governor Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting!
The Certificate of Achievement, awarded to the Treasurer's Office on Aug. 22 for the department's annual comprehensive financial report (ACFR) for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2022, is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.
