Just the Facts: Property Values & Reappraisal Impact

Dear Community Member:

As you may know, the year 2023 is a property re-appraisal year for Geauga County.

To support community understanding of how changes in property values impact property taxes and school district revenue, the following information was presented by the Chardon Schools Treasurer's Office to the Chardon Board of Education at the Oct. 16, 2023 regular board meeting.
