Dear Parents and Community Members:

Planning for the 2024-25 school year, we are implementing minor changes to the Chardon High School bell schedule, effective the first day of the new school year - August 14, 2024.

These changes focus on increasing student achievement and align with safety and security enhancements.

The staff and administration at CHS reviewed changes to the schedule in the Fall, and presented changes to the Board of Education in January.

The Key Takeaways
  • No change to start and end times
  • Maintaining hybrid block schedule (block periods two days a week)
  • Eliminating late start Wednesdays
  • Maintain open campus as a senior privilege
