SO Teams Uphold Long-Running Streak of State Qualification
Division B's 28th Consecutive Year / Division C's 26th Year
March 15, 2024 (CHARDON, OH) — Chardon's award-winning Science Olympiad Division B and Division C teams Toppered Up once again, continuing their extraordinary, multi-decade streak as State qualifiers. Chardon B and C teams most recently competed at the Northeast Ohio Regional tournament at Baldwin-Wallace University on March 2, achieving fourth and seventh overall team placements, respectively, in their divisions with B also earning 12* individual medals and C garnering six**.
Congratulations to both teams and head coaches — Emily Tusick and Gordon Burgess; assistant coaches; and the supportive village of parent volunteers — all of whom guide Chardon Olympiads on the path to high achievement each year.
Qualifying for this year's State tournament marks the 28th consecutive year of such attainment for Chardon Division B and the 26th year for Chardon Division C.
