Good afternoon to our incoming 4th grade families.
First, thank you for your patience, understanding and flexibility as we worked to put together relevant and helpful information for you in a new way due to the impact of COVID-19. Below you'll find a screencast that highlights what makes Chardon Middle School a great place to call home for your family. Our hope is that it provides insight into many of the areas you are interested in learning about CMS as it relates to your incoming 4th grade student.
In addition to this screencast, you'll find a Google Form link to this email. Since we are unable to host an in-person meeting, we want to give you an opportunity to ask questions that might not have been answered in the screencast. We understand that each student and family has unique considerations and concerns. This Google Form is the place to share any relevant questions you might have regarding Chardon Middle School.
Finally, as you are well aware, the guidelines surrounding COVID-19 are rapidly changing. While we have provided you information about a "normal" year at CMS, there are many moving parts and pieces as to what education in a pandemic will look like at Chardon Local School District. Hopefully, you've been receiving all district communications with all our current information about 20-21 fall planning as it relates to COVID-19. This information can also be found on the district's website.
We look forward to welcoming you into the CMS family where we are Caring, Mindful and Solution-Focused.
