Grades PK-12 Registration is Open for the 2024-25 School Year!

Please review the following before proceeding to Register below:

Pre-K Registration 2024-25
Registration for new and returning Pre-K students for 2024-25 opened on Feb. 1, 2024. Please register early as spots fill up quickly!

NO Auto-Enroll for Pre-K & KDG
If you have a student currently enrolled at the Chardon Early Learning Center for the 2023-24 school year and they will continue in Pre-K OR transition to Kindergarten in 2024-25, you must complete the enrollment process each of those years to secure their spot in the classroom for the upcoming school year.

K-12 Registration 2024-25
Registration for Kindergarten and NEW Gr. 1-12 students opened on Feb. 1, 2024. Register early!

Kindergarten Age Eligibility
Your incoming Kindergarten student must be five (5) years of age on or before:

  • August 1, 2024 to attend Kindergarten in the 2024-25 school year
  • August 1, 2023 to attend Kindergarten in the 2023-24 school year
After Kindergarten, Will I Need to Re-Enroll My Student Every Year?
No. Provided that your student continues to reside in the Chardon Local School District, their Kindergarten registration serves as a one-time enrollment process for grade levels K-12.

Kindergarten Orientation - Mark Your Calendar!
Thursday - MAY 2, 2024, 6:30p.m.
If your child will be attending Kindergarten in fall 2024, please mark your calendar for this Kindergarten Orientation, which will be held at the Chardon Early Learning Center at 308 Maple Ave. (44024). This is an important parent/guardian informational evening that you won't want to miss!


NO MOBILE! - Please do not use a mobile device to enroll.
You will need to use a desktop computer (laptop, etc.).

SAVE TIME!  - Please ensure you select the CORRECT school year. 
If you do not select the correct school year and you submit your student's registration with the incorrect school year, the system will need to delete the registration and you will need to re-enter your child's entire online registration with the correct year.

**Submitting an Intra-District Request for the 2024-25 school year does not guarantee transfer. You will be notified at a later date if there is an approved transfer for your student.

In addition to your online registration (above), you must submit all required registration documents [see 1-7 below] before we can officially enroll your student.

Pre-K Parents/Guardians must bring registration documents [SEE 1-7 below] to their scheduled appointment at Chardon Early Learning Center 308 Maple Ave, Chardon, OH 44024. Please contact School Secretary Lisa Loncar at 440.285.4066 with any questions regarding Pre-K documents.

This pertains to Kindergarten and new 1st-Grade Registrations only. 

7. If applicable, a copy of child's most recent ETR, IEP, and/or 504 Plan.
