Chardon High School is a five-year comprehensive public high school located in Chardon, Ohio, serving approximately 1,215 students in grades 8 through 12, supported by classroom teachers, media specialists, administrators, counselors, and an array of staff members, special educators, volunteers, and aides. 

CHS offers a wide variety of quality classes for students, as well as solid requirements. The school is a member of the Auburn Career Center Joint Vocational Consortium and a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools.

Twenty-one credits are required for graduation, and all grades are un-weighted. Students are ranked on a four-point scale. A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1 and F=0.

Juniors and seniors may earn college credit through co-college programs by attending local colleges. Independent study is available to expand a student’s curriculum.

Advanced placement classes are offered in Physics, English, Statistics, AB Calculus, BC Calculus, Chemistry, American History, American Government, European History, Computer Science, French, and Spanish.

In addition to quality academics, CHS helps to prepare well-rounded students for life after graduation. Extra-curricular activities include a wide range of athletics, music programs, drama presentations, student publications and special interest and honors clubs.
